Rest on Paper is a sequel to Un jour sans pain* est un jour sans soleil (2021), the first of the editions conceived by Ana Jotta in collaboration with Keijiban. Using the same format and structure of interlocking leporellos, the artist here engages in a celebration of the line—or rather, of all lines, however eccentric or fragile.

Shibui*, my friends!
“We took our time, but we got there” (The Ant Song)
Time has made its way, ridding me of so many images, so many trivial things, caught up like a “lining”.
You sum yourself up, you are lighter, more frugal, more at ease. No need to dress up your life, to replace it with stand-ins.
You feel more whole, more empty. Shibui is my life!
Travel light!

PS: Still, being rather irrational, I haven't overloaded my life...
